What occurs during a healing session?
Phone sessions begin with a conversation via phone or Skype. We will review your Intake Form, any recent photos or videos you’ve sent me, discuss issues in depth and any new developments you’d like to share. After our initial conversation ends, we will hang up and the healing will begin. I prefer the owner is present during the session, being somewhere nearby is fine. After the healing, I’ll call you back, describe what transpired and answer your questions. I’ll share suggestions how to further address the issues at hand.
Small animals often lie down to sleep during the healing, often near or next to their owners. It is an opportunity for you, as well as your animal, to sit quietly and to enjoy the benefits of the healing energy. Sometimes the animal will get up and move around in response to the opening of energetic blocks in their body. This behavior is fine, too, for the animal knows exactly what is needed to allow the powerful energy to flow through and support their healing.
Horses During phone sessions I prefer your horse not eat or have forage available, so they can surrender to the healing energy. You’re welcome to be present during the session to observe your horse’s response. They can be in a stall, dirt paddock or open field. I suggest they be free to move after the session, either in a paddock, turn out or hand grazed; so they can stretch and move.
Can you communicate with my horse or animal during the session?
Communication naturally occurs during the healing sessions. My intent is to assist the animal to heal and to enrich the relationship between them and their owner. Any communication I receive is in relation to the healing process and in support of the animal’s health. Often people have specific questions they would like me to ask of their animal. This is fine, I’m happy to help in this way.
What happens after a session?
Healing energy continues to support the healing of your small animal or horse, even after the session is completed. You will see additional positive shifts for days and weeks afterwards. I remain available via email or phone after the session and encourage my clients to keep in touch with me about the progress of their animals.
How long should I wait between sessions?
My experience is, after three to four weeks equines and small animals are ready for another session. If your pet, or horse, has a serious or an acute condition, it may be beneficial to schedule one sooner.
How many sessions will my animal need?
Every session has a powerful effect, and each session builds upon the transformation the animal has gone through as a result of the previous one. Sometimes one session is all that is needed to alleviate a particular injury or condition. Other times a series of two to four. Some people who have small animals with serious health issues, or older horses, choose regular sessions as part of their healing protocol.
